Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy
(cranium – skull, sacrum)
is a gentle, but powerful technique which supports the natural ability of a human organism to restore its regenerative and self-regulation mechanisms in a state of deep relaxation. It is irreplaceable in many modern health problems connected to nerve strain, stress and burnout/exhaustion. It is delivered by a very gentle and attentive touch on the skull, spine, sacrum and main fascial structures (pelvic floor, diaphragm etc).
Its wide variety of techniques deals with:
- regulation of the autonomous nerve system – reducing tension, high irritability, lowered resistance, chronic inflammatory processes, pain or numbness (cold) of the body parts
- fascial and deep-tissue release – chronic local tension, clearing cellular and tissue memory after injuries, traumatic experiences, birth or invasive medical interventions
- supporting primary respiration (breath of life) – rhythmic manifestation of life forces in human organisms, connected with growth development and intercellular metabolism
Besides its beneficial effect on the nervous system, CST can be a very supportive complementary method when undergoing medical treatments, attending psychotherapy, trying to maintain high quality of life or slowing down symptoms of deteriorating disease.
Deep, gentle touch of CST provides means to reconnect with the immense inner intelligence of your body. Besides treating physical symptoms it also helps to better deal with different life pressures and to regain inner balance and integrity. This makes it a great way of supporting yourself in any (mentaly, physicaly or emotionaly) challenging life period.
Working with a certified CS facilitator can also teach you:
- to be more connected to your bodily sensations and use them as a useful radar for navigating your decisions, actions and encounters
- to recognize natural self-regulation mechanisms that are always available for you
- to stay centered and handle difficult life circumstances from a more mature position
- to recognize your healthy boundaries and momentary capacity, and respect them in everyday situations
- to take care of your resources and establish good self-care
- how to connect with deeper wisdom of your body and discover at first hand the psychosomatic dimension of your health

I haven’t called you in a few months, because it was no longer needed. The pain (chronic resting pain in the sciatic nerve and leg) has disappeared and I feel much better. Now I’d like to book a session for my mom.
I’ve tried many many things, but with you one can see that you really know what you’re doing.
